First month...

Jane LOVES her baths. Every time we put her in the water she just sinks in and puts her legs up. I think this was taken at about 4 weeks.
This is how her hair naturally dries so I was taking a picture of her hair and she looks like she is pushing the camera away.
And this one is funny because to me she totally looks like she is posing for the camera. Cute girl!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Jane's first month of life... (At least the ones  I haven't posted yet.) Okay, who can tell me how to get my writing above the first picture? I have no clue, it seems like no matter what I do it pushes my writing to the bottom... any ideas? Thanks!

Hair Clips!!!

Alright, so I made these hair clips today... I got the idea off of makeitandloveit.blogspot.com (when I figure out how to make a link to her blog I will...) Anyways, if you want to make some they are super simple and she has a tutorial on her blog of how to do it. The only thing I did differently was put velcro on the back of the flowers and on the clips so I could interchange them. 

I did that because once I started cutting my flowers I started wanted a lot of different colors and varieties and was running out of clips... so now I can mix and match. WOO HOO!

What I do when Zach isn't here...

Well, I was at the computer... holding Jane, and there isn't much you can do with one hand... but you can take pictures of yourself on your web cam! ahhaha I took these to email Zach at work, but I think they are great examples of my acting skills. Bet you didn't know I wasn't scared in the first one. And little did you know... that is fake laughing in the lower one. I know... I deserve an oscar.
And yes, that is my messy room in the background. And yes again... our dresser is falling apart. :)

Well, Angela I took this picture for you! I realized we were so camera crazy the first week, that we haven't been taking ANY pictures! So I took this one just so I could post it.  Jane sleeping in the swing that Grandma and Grandpa Olsen got for her! Thanks guys!
Jane's first snow fall of her life. Thursday March 26th... one day after everyone in my family left. I'm so glad that the snow waited until everyone was gone! It was crazy, I looked out my window and the snow was not falling down... but "falling" sideways... it was CRAZY! So Zach stepped out the front door so we could take a picture and then ran back inside. It was SO cold!

Baby Jane's Blessing

Our first family photo... aww... Jane is only 9 days old in this picture, but we wanted to have her blessed when my family was in town. It was really fun to have everyone here and be apart of this special day.
Here is Jane, lookin' pretty :) Her blessing dress is very special to me and will one day be very special to her. A couple weeks before my mom made the trip out here I asked her if she would make Jane a blessing dress. Well, not only did my mom make this dress, but she made it out of her wedding dress!!! Isn't that amazing. I was looking at the dress when she first handed it to me and was like "hmm... mom, is this new fabric?" and she was like, kinda. Anyways, I guessed right away. I can't believe she cut up her wedding dress (which she also made) to make Jane a dress. I just think that is way cool and very special. THANKS MOM!
Here is a group shot of everyone that came to visit. (except my mother who so kindly stayed home with me and Jane) Zach took them on a hike up in Boulder. They all said the hike was beautiful and I can't wait until I can make the trip. In the photo: Phillip, Zach, Summer, Dad, Valerie, Chad, Jaedyn, and Angela. Unfortunately Valerie's husband couldn't make the trip. (He is taking 19 credits this semester... woah) And my oldest brother and his family weren't able to make it either. Regardless, I am SO happy that the family that did make it was able to come. I wasn't that much fun because I was still recovering, but I had a lot of fun having everyone here. Thanks guys for making the trip!
