Liquidation Sale!!!

There is a place across from my work downtown that is an architecture firm. Well, they had a liquidation sale of all the stuff from their model homes, these pillows were a buck a piece!
And this really cool lamp was only $10! (The base of it is really heavy... no cheap lamp here!) Anyways, they only take cash and I didn't have any on me, I was actually over there with my boss and she was like oh, just throw it on my tab! So she actually bought these for me! How nice. Her tab ended up being... uh about $2,000! With everything being such an awesome deal, you can see how she got A LOT of stuff! I'm going back tomorrow with my mother in law because there is stuff I want to show her. Anyways, I love awesome deals! Wish I had more money to spend right now!

My baby belly... yet again...

29 weeks...  I had Zach take this picture after church today... 
And this one is from a few weeks ago... I think it was actually before Thanksgiving, but I think the stripes on the shirt make my belly look bigger.

Downtown Denver

A couple weeks ago Zach and I stayed downtown after work and walked around, these horse carriages were everywhere and there is a place called Larimer Square which is a outside shopping center and the whole street is lit up with these lights. It is really pretty at night.
I know you can hardly see Zach but I had to take the picture without the flash so you could see the cool lights...

Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Late Thanksgiving everyone! We are so happy! Valerie and Luis came and spent the week with us, so we did some fun stuff. Here are some pictures:

We took a trip to Garden of the Gods, it is beautiful! It has all these HUGE rocks and it is just really pretty. You know how when you pick a picture it's small? Well, I must have blended in cause I didn't mean to post my REALLY CORNY belly picture! HAHA but now that it's up... oh well. And just so you know... it was a joke. Seriously.

23 1/2 weeks

Here is the quilt I made for our little girl. I started it on Friday and finished it all tonight except that I do need to tie it. DON'T LOOK TOO CLOSE!!! I did it all without a pattern and I am obviously not a perfectionist! (The baby won't notice...)
And here is her crib! We bought it off craigslist for $50. When we bought it it was a cherry color so we painted it and learned to put it together without instructions! There are still a couple things we need to adjust but, overall I'm pretty happy with it!

Our Visit To Utah/Idaho

We drove down to Utah for my aunt Sonya's funeral. And on the way down we spent a day or two in Idaho Falls with my brother then on the way home we couldn't help but stop at Bear Lake and freeze our butts off.
Zach and I took Jaedyn for a walk. She is Chad and Angela's adorable child! We got to babysit her all day Monday and she was in love with Zach. This is Zach and Jaedyn at the end of the walk. Doesn't he just look like a dad? :)

Zachy's 25th birthday!

Happy Birthday Zach!!! His birthday was on October 21st... but unfortunately we weren't able to celebrate until about a week later. But I think I'm in the running for the worst birthday cake ever. :) I was trying to make it cooler than just a plain old cake in a pan... and I made it worse!!! It was SO crumbly! HAHA Sorry Zach! Happy Birthday! I love you!

Baby Eisley's Profile

Okay,  so here she is... she totally looks like Zach... don't you think? What a cutie pie... :) Anyways, I didn't want to post her picture that was a head on shot because it looks scary to me, but these profile pictures sure are cute. And... in the bottom picture it's so cute how her hand is on her forehead like she is in deep thought. hahaha so cute.

p.s. if it's up to me, her name will be Eisley, but Zach isn't sure yet... bummer

Baby Clothes

We are having a.... GIRL!!!! WOO HOO! So we splurged and bought this super cute onesie and this incredibly cute pair of tights... we are so excited!

HOW I CUT MY OWN HAIR! I added a lot more layers to the front and sides.

And the other side. I know it doesn't look perfect, but I must say... I like it better than it was. 

Lesson Learned! Never trust anyone about how great their hairdresser is. Wait til you see a haircut you like, ask them where they got it cut and go to that person! I don't care if I have to pay three times as much! I just want a good and cute haircut! I knew I should have just flown to Utah to have Liesl do it! DOH!!!

Oh, how I hate cutting my hair...

Wow, could he have cut any less layers? When he was done, the right side was an inch longer than the left. And when I said something, he said, oh... it's supposed to be that way. WHAT!? ummm I didn't ask for an asymmetrical haircut! So he was all annoyed that I wanted even hair.
This is the side picture of it. See how he did all these layers in the back but not in the front!!! So disappointing!

My baby belly!

Okay, I know most people hate showing belly pictures, but I am just so excited that my belly is showing! I am obsessed with my tummy! Seriously it just popped out yesterday and i can't keep my hands off of it. Sorry, but you will probably be seeing a lot of pictures like this one. Oh, and I find out what I'm having on October 20th! WOO HOO!

Baby Bibs

So, my craft for the night was baby bibs... here is a picture of all three that got finished. Don't look too closely!!!
This was Zach's idea, we tried it with the fabrics we had and we think it's pretty funny... But next time it will be better with the right materials.
Bugs... what else is there to say?
And this one the off centeredness of the neck hole is the most obvious :( But this was fun. Next up... burp rags! Woo WOo

Baby Booties

Alright,  so I got that sewing machine from Zach for my birthday and I have definitely been putting it to use.  All I have done so far is spent a lot of time practicing, nothing I have made is anything that will be put to use. But here are the pictures. This dress is the first thing I've sewn since I got my sewing machine. I went to Joann's and  bought a "simple" pattern, and some cheap fabric. That way... when it didn't turn out I wouldn't be mad!
Zach found this pattern for me online for these baby booties, so I've been using a lot of scraps to practice... and none of them are very good...
But, out of all of them... these ones turned out the best!

Day at the Beach

Wedding Hair...

For some reason Valerie trusted me to do her hair even though I told her she was better off going to someone else! But I think it turned out good... Thank goodness!

And of course Passion's hair was amazing. At one point she was sitting on the stairs and I asked her what she was doing and she said : I'm making my hair just right for Valerie's wedding. And this is what it looked like. It was so cute!
