WE GOT ACCEPTED!

SWEET! We will soon be homeowners! We haven't set a closing date, but it will be somewhere between the end of May and the middle of June. I am so excited. When it comes time that we close, we still will have to wait to move in because it needs some fixin's. But I can't tell you how excited we are. I can't wait to pick out my carpet and paint and furniture! This is going to be so different from renting. Geez... I don't have to have white walls?! How great!

Sorry, I know there are tons of exclamation marks but I am excited! Anyways, I will keep you all up to date on our Homeownership.  This is a picture of our kitchen, I will update you one or two photos at a time...  :)

House hunting...

Okay, so house hunting is going good. I find house hunting to be very draining, physically and emotionally. It is hard to find a place that you really like, and when you do... it's almost worse. Cause once you know what you want... it's hard to settle for something else. Or you find something you really want and you put an offer on it and they say you have to wait a week for them to decide whether or not to accept your offer. So... that is the position we are in right now.
We have put an offer on a really cute townhome on Monday, and won't know until this next Monday if we get it. So much time waiting! The home needs carpet and paint, and a washer and dryer, but for being forclosed on... it's in really good shape. The cabinets are good, and there is only one hole in the wall. HAhaHA. But seriously, we have been in some that are HORRIBLE. I mean, holes in the walls, ceilings, doors, and cabnets. We even went in one that had a mound of Cheetos laying in the front room and a huge pile of dog doo on the back porch etc. GROSS!

Work, Work, Work

Okay, so I thought I was going to write all these cool blogs because I had so much time on my hands. But, apparently... I was wrong. I just started a job on Monday, I pretty much just answer phones and input data into the computer and it is full time. But, the one thing that is great about it, is that it is seasonal. I am in the process of getting my cosmetology license but as I have learned in the past... it's not easy.
Okay, it's not hard on my behalf... but the state board of Cosmetology in Idaho and Washington sure make it is as difficult as possible to send verification to Colorado. And NO! Colorado won't just take MY copy of my two licenses as verification. That would just be too EASY! So, it's frustrating to not have my license, but it is nice to have a temporary job in the mean time.

Graduation!

Woo Hoo! We graduated! Okay, I only graduated with my associates in general studies, but Zach has his Bachelors in Business management now!

Graduation was fun. Both of our parents were able to come as well as my sister Valerie. It was really cool because my brother Chad graduated that day too! He got his bachelors in elementary education. He had a job interview right after graduation... and he got it! So, graduation is what brought Zach and I to Denver. You don't seriously think we would live in Rexburg if we weren't going to school do you?
