NYC day 4

So, this is in reverse because blogger has been weird and I can only upload one photo at a time. SO, read from the bottom up.
And we went to Central Park that night. We pretty much fit central park into every day of the trip.
The buildings are so high it's almost claustrophobic. (sp?)
We went and saw ground zero, the charging bull and wall street.
We ate hot dogs from a street vendor.
Me, on the ferry.
We rode the free staten island ferry, this is as close as we got to the statue of liberty.

NYC day 3...finally

Okay, so day three... we went to China Town... every third store looks the same, so we really didn't spend much time there, but some of the architecture was pretty cool.
We went to Levain's bakery... $4 cookies= best cookies we have EVER had. If you go to NYC, you have to go here. We went a couple times but wish we went more!
YUM!
We also saw HAIR on broadway. Spent too much money to go to a show where the ENTIRE cast was naked at one point. What?!?! And we had to run about 10 blocks to get there on time. (We were constantly under estimated how long it would take to get from point A to point B)

NYC day two!

First thing we did on Friday was go on over to Grimaldi's a super delicious pizza place recommended to us by several sources... we waited in line for ONE hour and 15 minutes! (It would have been at least another 15 minutes had we been a larger group)
So while we were in line I went to stand in line at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory (for 20 min.) so that we could have some deliciousness while waiting!

We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. I LOVED it!!! That white line in the middle is supposed to seperate bikers and walkers... let's just say that if I was a biker I would be extremely annoyed!


We also went to the MOMA (Museum of Modern Arts) it's free on Friday nights and the line was half way around a NYC block! We hesitated but after all we had just waited in line for 1 hour and 15 minutes for pizza....

New York City! YAYAYA! DAY ONE

We got off the plane, got a taxi (man watching that meter is stressful!) Got to our apartment, that we rented from strangers...haha and went straight to the subway to Central Park.
30 rock, oh how you are one of my dearest shows to watch...

Times Square
We didn't bring jackets with us on the first night because we left the apt and it was warm outside. Well...we didn't want to have to go all the way back to the apt for jackets later when it was really cold so we stopped in at Gap and bought some clearance items... and wore them pretty much every night!

Jane turned one! (3 weeks ago... oops)

The night before Jane's birthday we had a March babies (and a February baby) birthday party. All five of these kiddos were born within a month! And we are all in the same ward so we have a lot of fun play dates!

This is Jane and Brielle and me and Jessica. Jane and Brielle share the same birthday! They are only about 2 hours apart... I love that.

At a year Jane only weighed 17lbs 10oz which puts her in the 5th percentile! Way too go Jane!

I've finally updated my blog! Look below to see the last months worth of festivities. Also, I have been hard at work doing some stuff in my kitchen, so as soon as that's complete I will post pictures! (Or I'll wait a month... whichever)

part five.

Is this not the cutest girl you have ever seen? I LOVE her gapped teeth. This picture just makes me smile.

She LOVE UGGS! I never got the picture I wanted but she would put them on her arms and then hold them out so she looked like a scarecrow. It was really funny. And I really need a new camera that will take picture when I want it to.

Diaper head. She was doing this on her own and it was so funny. But of course by the time I grabbed the camera, all she wanted was the camera! So I did my best to re enact it.

Play date. The little man right to the left of Jane is only 5 days younger. And the little girl back and to the right of Jane is only 3 or 4 hours younger than Jane. And there are a couple more kids in the ward born right at the same time. So we get together once a week for play dates. It's fun to see them all climb the stairs at the same time... not.
