It's been awhile...

Okay, sorry I haven't written in a while. Zach and I have been doing nothing but working on our house for the past three weeks. It has been crazy busy. We moved in last Monday which has been really nice. Except for my hour commute both ways. That part really sucks. But we love our new house. There is still work to be done, we have to hang the blinds, do paint touch ups etc, etc. Anyways, I don't want to post any pictures of the house yet... because it isn't how I want you to portray our house... So maybe in another week or two I will post some photos. Anyways, here are some pictures from the last little while:

Closing Date

Alright, we have a closing date... JUNE 27th! We are getting our inspection done tomorrow afternoon and we are also having some flooring people come, and a/c people. And I want a salon in one of the bedrooms so we have to get quotes on the plumbing as well. Lots of money!  Anyways, here are two more pictures of our house, one is the front room with the fire place (above it is where the TV goes...) and NO carpet! And the other is a view from the front door of the dining room and kitchen 

Weekends!

Zach and I decided that since we are both working full time, and every time we get home from work we are pretty tired, that every weekend we have to redeem our week by doing something fun. The first saturday we were here, Zach's dad took us on a bike ride around town for a little tour. The mountains are beautiful here, but they suck to ride up.

The week after that we hiked green mountain (which we have pictures of). It w

as fun but again, a lot of work. And the next week we went to Boulder so Zach could get a qualifying time for the Bolder Boulder, which is a 10k. I am in it as well, but didn't do a qualifying run not only because I don't want to be competitive in it, but because I was in bed all day with a horrible migrain. Afterwards we watched this really funny street performer. Our camera was in the car, but I would have liked getting a picture with him!

The next weekend we drove up to Conifer to visit my aunt and my cousins. Conifer is beautiful! Their house was in the woods up in the mountains, can't imagine a better place to live. It was really fun to see them. Zach and I had a lot of fun.

And this weekend we played some indoor soccer, which we lost by a lot, and we went to a major league Lacrosse game. We didn't even know anything about Lacrosse, but it was fun. Zach's work buys season passes to all the sporting events and when they aren't used, we get them! YAY!
