Baby Booties

Alright,  so I got that sewing machine from Zach for my birthday and I have definitely been putting it to use.  All I have done so far is spent a lot of time practicing, nothing I have made is anything that will be put to use. But here are the pictures. This dress is the first thing I've sewn since I got my sewing machine. I went to Joann's and  bought a "simple" pattern, and some cheap fabric. That way... when it didn't turn out I wouldn't be mad!
Zach found this pattern for me online for these baby booties, so I've been using a lot of scraps to practice... and none of them are very good...
But, out of all of them... these ones turned out the best!

This blog is great. She does super cute crafty things. This link is to the booties she made.

So you're pretty much awesome and I'm really jealous you can make clothes. I really need to try that.

whatever, those booties are SO cute! The dress looked good too. All it needs is a good ironing and you might be surprised how much you like it. Dangit, if we were neighbors we could sew all day!

Liesl... I would love to have some patterns to try! I did those booties instead of some mary janes because Zach insisted on finding a free pattern! I was like... umm the mary jane pattern is only $3.95!!! haha
